Strictly Come Dancing viewers have come out in defence of YouTube star Joe Sugg after a tense semi-final.
Viewers will always have opinion on the scoring, especially if they think their fave is being hard done by.
Joe and professional partner Dianne Buswell performed twice on Saturday night, a Viennese Waltz and a Peaky Blinders-themed Argentine Tango.
Judge Craig Revel Horwood was particularly unhappy with Joes Viennese Waltz, telling him: Way too much rise and fall, it almost became a waltz. All the movement I thought was too harsh and it made it look rigid. I dont think its your best ballroom to be honest.
Meanwhile Darcey Bussell added that she felt Joe had had difficulties with the routine.
She said: We expect a lot from you, weve seen what you can produce. I do feel you had difficulty with that continuous rotation, your shoulder starts to creep up. This is the semi finals, we want more. But it wasnt bad, it just wasnt what we expect from you.

Judge Bruno Tonioli said: Your connection with your partner so caring, so lovely so sweet. Everyone was going, “Oooh”.
You lost a bit of the smooth rotation but a wonderful, wonderful, very well received performance.
Craig had his claws out for their Argentine Tango too, saying: It was too stompy for me, it was all too placed. I felt like you werent leading the dance.
The judges gave them 30 for their second dance and 29 for their Viennese Waltz.
Many fans of Joe took to Twitter to claim the judges were being harsh on him that week, and vowed to do their bit to send him through to next weeks final.
Clearly Joe is going to get harsh comments when theyre comparing him to people like Ashley whos had 30 years dance experience #strictly

My heart is honestly breaking rn for joe & dianne. they were under marked sm and some of the comments were completely unnecessary and unfair. both of his performances were delivered with such passion and determination and he deserved so much more tonight #Strictly

They keep undermarking Joe, he clearly looks so upset and has really improved and no way did that dance deserve a 6 #Strictly

Ahhh @Joe_Sugg and @dbuzz6589 got ripped off.
A 6 from Craig both times? I swear to god that man has it in for them two.
Love you, kill it xx— Amy Jacklin (@ajacklin0412) December 8, 2018
So under marked. Im so pissed off. That was probably one of the most genuine and sincere dances ive ever seen. So light and beautiful. Im in awe of @Joe_Sugg and @dbuzz6589.

Meanwhile Joe shrugged off the criticisms and thanked his legions of fans for their support.
Thank you all so so much for your support regardless of our scores I enjoyed dancing the two dances with @dbuzz6589 so much and loved every second of it. Laaaav ya all pic.twitter.com/0ZF6FBV8BS
