Kevin Clifton says hes not leaving Strictly and all is right with the world again.

The professional dancer reassured viewers that he planned to stay on the show for as long as they still want me on Sunday night, as he tweeted to confirm hell be back next year.

Concerns had been raised that the current series – in which he has just reached the semi-final with celeb partner Stacey Dooley – would be his curtain call after six years after a report in The Sun on Sunday, suggested that his mind was made up.

However, Kevin set the record straight when he said: Course its not true. Im not going anywhere as long as they still want me.

Reiterating his intention to stay put, Kevin added: Absolutely no plans to leave @bbcstrictly . No idea what this is about.
