Pete Davidson Accounted For After Disturbing Post; SNL Cast Member Deletes Instagram

Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson has been accounted for and seems to be fine after he wrote an unsettling Instagram post. He has since deleted his social media accounts but has been getting an outpouring of support.

“Im doing my best to stay here for you but I actually dont know how much longer I can last,” Davidson, who is very open about his mental health, wrote on Instagram. “All Ive ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.” The Instagram post appeared after he showed support to Kanye West for tweeting about mental illness.

After an outpour of support and concern, the NYPD said that Davidson was accounted for at work at NBC and fine, according to the New York Times.

Among those expressing their support included John Cryer who tweeted, “Am hearing Pete Davidson is at SNL and accounted for. We are thinking of you, Pete. You are loved. (And just a heads up, when you finally turn on your cell, its gonna go apeshit for a little while).”

Meghan McCain wrote on Twitter: “We need to be kinder to each other… Like I said on the show – it is okay if your holiday is not easy and happy. Sending love and light to Pete Davidson.”

In addition, Jada Pinkett Smith sent love and support to Davidson saying, “Hang in there. There is a lot of help out here. Surrender to some love some where around you … today! Right now! And then … let in the help that will become available. Im praying for you Pete. Ive been there. It gets better.”

Singer Ariana Grande, Davidsons ex-fiance also showed concern. “Im downstairs and Im not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything,” she wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted. ” I know u have everyone u need and thats not me, but im here too.”
