Jodie Comer revealed filming for the second series of Killing Eve has officially come to an end.

However, even though the show was signed on for round two – the star has recently admitted that she didnt think the series would be a hit in the UK.

Chatting to The Big Issue magazine, she expressed how surprised she was at the huge response generated by the show.

The 25-year-old said: It was so crazy, and wonderful. It is lovely there is such a buzz. I have never been part of a show that has had such an enormous response.

Even after it was a hit in America, the pessimist in me was saying, what if the Brits hate it? But they didnt. They loved it.

But, despite the Killing Eves success, it seems Jodie was snubbed from the Golden Globes nominations this year, as her name was noticeably absent from the list of Best Supporting Actress nominees.

Instead, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisels Alex Bornstein, Shard Objects Patricia Clarkson, American Crime Storys Penelope Cruz, Westworlds Thandie Newton and The Handmaids Tales Yvonne Strahovski will battle it out for the most sought-after trophy in television.

Its not all bad news though, as Killing Eve is up for Best Drama, alongside Bodyguard, The Americans, Homecoming and Pose.

Jodie, who plays the devious Villanelle in the series, recently took to her Instagram to share a photo of her head shot folded in on itself, marking the end of her time on the show.

Alongside the snap, she wrote: A perfect representation of how I feel now S2 of [Killing Eve] is completed. Thats right guys, ITS A WRAP!

Thank you to the entire crew for making this experience what it was! Weve been living in each others pockets for the last 6 months and its been a nothing but good times!
