Black Mirror fans are champing at the bit for any information on the upcoming instalment of the cult favourite – and we have our first hints, finally. Maybe. Potentially.

Teased as a Netflix film – yes, film, coming in at 90 minutes, not just a series – the episode titled Bandersnatch has been uploaded to the streaming platform, with everything but the actual content.

So, thats, er, cool.

For those wondering, by the way, a Bandersnatch is a fictional creature first brought to life in Lewis Carrolls 1872 novel Through The Looking-Glass. It was then rebirthed in his 1874 poem The Hunting Of The Snark.

But there are a few hints punters have picked up, reading between the limited messages Netflix has bestowed upon us as it teased the fifth season and a potential choose your own adventure instalment.

The main hint people have picked up on today, though, being that it might link to Domhnall Gleesons harrowing episode, Be Right Back.

However, were not sure what it might have to do with that ep, or if it indeed has anything to do with the episode at all and isnt just an on-brand waiting title until the real deal lands.

We wont give away the ending, but its safe to say the tale was left open-ended – even though it did raise some pretty uncomfortable questions about keeping one alive through their social media.

Anyway, fast forward to now and Netflixs screen which spouts the next episode/film/whatever.

Its reported to be landing 28 December, however we have a feeling the cheeky Charlie Brooker might just release it willy nilly and not tell a soul.

Eyes firmly on the prize, people.

It comes after Miley Cyrus teased her potential role in the next season – which may or may not be this film, we really dont know whats going on anymore.

The Wrecking Ball singer said she filmed on the Netflix series at the time wildfires raged through her Malibu home.

Asked if she was going to appear in season five, Miley told Howard Stern: If you guess it, then I will shake my head “yes”, and Stern revealed she had nodded.

She went on: Im really actually excited for everyone to watch the “head shaking” project we said “yes” to.

The minute I say I never want to do something again, all of a sudden, there I am. It was the first time Ive left somewhere feeling really proud of my work, but you know if I like it that might mean its horrible.
