Could The Walking Deads Judith Grimes be immune to walker bites? This could be a game-changer

Without her father Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead, Judith is now left to fend for herself in the zombie apocalypse.

But she might not have anything to worry about because fans have realised that she might actually be immune to walker bites.

Trace your minds back to episode one of The Walking Dead when whatever it was that caused humans to suddenly disintegrate to gormless shells, did so rapidly. Really rapidly.

Is it possible that people born AFTER the turn are not infected? Could little Judy survive a bite from a walker because the infection is not in her? they asked The Walking Dead fandom.

Oooh this is actually intriguing, began littlecatladybird. I think a bite will turn anybody but if the outbreak originated from one big airborne virus that has since disappeared, logically the kids of S9 wouldnt turn.

There are flaws to this logic, however, as greatness 1010 pointed out: Im sure it would get passed down through birth, especially if its a viral or bacterial infection. At least in the case of Judith.

If someone that was born after the turn died of a non walker bite (like gunshot or whatever) then it would be up for debate.

I dont think that has come into play yet however correct me if I am wrong.

Author of The Walking Dead comics, Robert Kirkman, was always desperate for the AMC series to kill off Judith as a baby. However, after the various time jumps, she is now a fierce little warrior in her own right.

Just before Ricks abrupt exit, The Walking Dead finally confirmed that Shane Walsh is actually Judiths father.
