BBC2s Race Across The World has so far seen best pals and business partners Josh and Felix survive the pressure.

Yet, cracks are beginning to show in their relationship when they encounter trouble at the Chinese border.

The show, which sees the final four teams racing across the world, has already shown the competitors clock up more than 5000 miles during their journeys.

However, things get tense in the upcoming episode, in which the teams have to leave Tashkent in Uzbekistan to reach Huangyao in southern China.

With the border closing at 6pm, it doesnt leave much time for them to make it across.

While the first team, father and son duo Darron and Alex, make it across the border just fine, Josh and Felix end up making a run for it, only to find out its closed.

Felix clearly gets agitated, declaring: Well were f***ed mate, looks like were staying here then.

With Josh attempting to calm him down, he adds: We dont know where were going, we dont know anything and we also dont have enough money, weve got 2000 tenge (£4).

As Felix walks off, Josh explains: Were not able to cross the border, so we have to look for a hotel – very frustrating.

Despite clearing the border with little trouble, Darron and Alex start to run out of cash pretty quickly, deciding to boost their funds by working at a flower market.

Tony and Elaine suffer similar issues as they opt for an uncomfortable trip on slow trains through China – definitely not luxury travel.

Meanwhile, Natalie and Shameema splash the cash on bullet trains, but make sure to stop off in a ski-resort to allow Natalie to do something that, as a child with sickle-cell anaemia, she was never able to do.
