The Walking Dead is known for killing off some of their much loved characters.

Glenn, Abraham, Carl, Hershel, Lori…

And it turns out the cast take their pals leaving the show just as hard as the fans.

Chatting at Walker Stalker in London on Saturday, Ross Marquand, who plays Aaron in the AMC hit revealed that once an actors time is upon the show, the cast and crew hold death dinners to say their goodbyes.

Sounds pretty morbid… but we promise its not.

The actor explained that they all write a speech to their buddies to where they reveal how much they loved working alongside them.

Kind of like a funeral but the person is still alive.

He said: Its weird [when someone leaves].

We do death dinners where we say nice things about a person while theyre still living.

The star joked about how its actually a great thing to do and wished more people would get on board with.

He said: People should do this in real life outside of the show. Its great to give a speech about them while theyre still alive and kicking.

Even though it does suck, we say what we love and what we have learned and then we say goodbye. Its always very tough.

The star then went on to discuss which deaths on the show hit him the hardest – and it turns out it was Glenns.

Ross said: Glenn and Abrahams deaths were very impressive with the special effects.
