Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) has made a few enemies in her time but shes about to make an entire Squares worth of enemies in one fell swoop in EastEnders.
All because she cant control a foul mood.
Hunter Owens (Charlie Winter) plea hearing is fast arriving and Mel is anxious about how it will pan out. Shes riled up when she overhears people gossiping about her son, and shes further irked when Ben, the little oik, intentionally winds her up.
Hunters solicitor advises Mel to try and persuade some familar faces to show up and offer their support, but no one is willing to be there for a murderer.
Later, Mel is pushed over the edge as the gossiping escalates and she ends up snapping – in public.
She makes herself enemy number one as she goes around insulting everyone in The Vic. She even risks a beating from Karen Taylor as she dishes out some awful home truths, leaving Keanu to struggle to hold his mum back before she does something she regrets.
