Kendra Carlson, 35, said she has been confronted twice in one week by the birds that have taken over her Cambridge, Massachusetts neighborhood.
Carlson, who is seven months pregnant, said she now arms herself with an umbrella whenever she goes on a walk to defend herself against the aggressive fowls.
Next thing I know Im encircled, theyre pecking at the back of my legs, Carlson told WCVB, recounting the latest incident.

A couple more appear and I cannot get away. Im covering over my belly, Im kicking them behind me, Im screaming bloody murder.

The first attack was witnessed by a neighbor who invited Carlson in her home from a glass of water, the Boston Globe reported.
After the harrowing ordeal, Carlson said her mother-in-law advised her to begin carrying the umbrella around the neighborhood, citing experts who warned not to run away from a turkey that is attacking.
She did not want it to happen again. She is worried about the baby and so decided this would be the best thing, and actually I love it. It gives me some peace of mind, Carlson said.
