Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) is a woman on borrowed time it would seem as a sinister new Emmerdale trailer has confirmed that a night out for the predator will change her life forever – while showing her covered in blood.
Maya has been grooming Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) and sexually abusing him for months and has even been enjoying the risks of getting caught. But now that Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) knows her sordid secret and is blackmailing her for cash, she knows its only a matter of time before she pays the price.
Emmerdale has always said that Maya would get some sort of comeuppance but fans are now speculating based on the trailer that once Maya is finally exposed, she will be killed rather than arrested for the crime.
Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) is seen in front of her own mirror with a dark expression on her face but she then explodes with rage and starts smashing it up with her fists. Is this a clue that she is the one to find out the truth of the matter?

And that her rage will lead to a bloody showdown that will leave Maya worse off.
