10 Coronation Street spoilers: Gemmas pregnancy bombshell, Peters Carla horror, violence for Gary

Its a week of bombshells for the Coronation Street lot and none of its good.

Peter Barlows (Chris Gascoyne) on a crusade to find out what happened to Carla, calling on social media to help. But when he gets a tip off, it threatens to send him into his own downward spiral. Whats happened to her?

Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) is in for a shocker when she finds out the cause of her constant sickness. Shes not in a permanent state of hangover after all. Is she ready for the news?

And Gary Windass (Mikey North) troubles are only just beginning when hes found battered and bruised after a run in. How much danger has he put himself and his family in?

Monday 22nd April – Part one

Gary promises Sarah hes paid off his debts and wont lie to her anymore, but hes quickly caught out when she hears Alex talking about a loan shark called Rick and Sarah realises hes been to their house.

Ken is in a bad mood at the christening when he receives a letter from the council charging him for allowing his dog to poo in public and Sinead tries to calm the families bickering when he learns Beth reported him.

Chesney is annoyed at Gemma feeling too hungover for the christening so she tries to make him a fish pie to say sorry. But she falls asleep and burns it. But shes intrigued when she reads a text from Tyrone.

After setting up his new handyman business, Seb is called on by salon owner Rachel to fix the toilet, where he meets Alina.

Monday 22nd April – Part two

Seb finds Gary bloodied and in a bad way at the builders yard. He tells Seb his van and tools have been stolen, but when Seb tells Eileen what happened she makes a shocking decision.

Berties christening becomes absolute madness as it descends into a food fight as the Tinkers go up against the Barlows over poo gate.

Chesney suggests fish and chips but Gemma isnt in the mood – shes read his texts to Tyrone and realised their relationship is over as shes ruining his life.

Seb has a flirt with Alina but is deflated when she knocks him back.

Wednesday 24th April – Part One

Peter is becoming increasingly concerned over whats happened to Carla and he goes with Simons suggestion of using her photo on social media with the hashtag #FindCarla. Hes not sure it will work but hes surprised when he is contacted by someone claiming to have seen her.

Sarah tells Bethany she regrets her relationship with Gary. Gary, meanwhile, tries to convince Bethany to speak to Sarah and get her to listen to him as he still believes they can make it work.

Gemma is gutted when Chesney implies her ongoing sickness is due to a drink problem. Emma calls in on her and finds her sick and upset. Gemma tells her what she read in the texts and that its clear shes upsetting him. She later sees Rita who suggests her sickness might be down to something else so she does a pregnancy test, and is absolutely aghast when it shows up positive.

After his performance at the christening Kirk decides to apply for X Factor.

Wednesday 24th April – Part two

Peter reads the message with intrigue – its from a guy from Carlas old estate who says hes seen her and will help Peter – for cash. Ken tells him to just call the police, but Peter wants to go alone. He arrives at the derelict house ready to hand over cash, but will they actually help?

Sarah finally agrees to meet with Gary who begs for forgiveness. Will she forgive and forget?

Rita insists that Gemma go and tell Chesney her huge pregnancy news. How will he react?
