Riverdales KJ Apa has revealed the late actor Luke Perry made him feel comfortable and feel welcome on the CW shows set.
The star, who played KJs dad Fred Andrews on the American teen drama, passed away last month at the age of 52 after suffering a stroke.
The series aired Lukes final episode earlier this week, which saw his character have an emotional scene with son Archie, with KJ opening up about working alongside him for three years.
Its not every day you come across a guy like Luke, he said.
Luke is the kind of person who did everything he can to make whoever you are, no matter how big or small you are, feel comfortable and feel welcome.
Its hard to kind of put into words how that makes me feel.

Luke passed away 4 March surrounded by his friends and family.
Since his death, Riverdale has dedicated the remaining episodes of season three to him, with episode 19 Fear The Reaper marking his last appearance as Fred.
In the short scene, Fred comforts his son Archie after his boxing rival Randy Ronson (Darcy Hinds) died in a match against him in a previous episode.
Randy took a lethal drug in the hopes of enhancing his skills, but the boxers family and coach are trying to blame Archie for his demise.
Son, from everything youve said its clear that Randy died from those drugs, he tells Archie.
An autopsy will support that. Youre innocent.
Riverdale is available to stream on Netflix.
