Leela Lomax (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) punches Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) over his racist remarks as it all kicks off in Hollyoaks.
Stes animosity towards the Maalik family initially started due to Misbah (Harvey Virdi) being unable to save Tegans (Jessica Ellis) life.
Jonny used this hatred to further his far-right agenda and, as a result, Ste has found himself at the centre of this radicalisation storyline — and is unable to see that his actions have become increasingly racist.
Now things have escalated so much that Leela ends up attacking him, over his verbal attacks.
It all begins when Peri Lomax (Ruby ODonnell) is asked to be a bridesmaids for Liberty Savage (Abi Phillips), who is marrying Sami Maleek (Rishi Nair).
Gearing up for the wedding, the Maaliks dress up in their traditional shalwar kameez wedding dresses, and Peri posts a happy selfie with the group on social media.

Ste stumbles across the posts and concluded that the Maaliks are forcing Peri to wear that outfit, and takes it upon himself to put a stop to it.
He hunts them down in the streets and begins shouting at Peri to take off the dress – causing a huge scene in the process.
Ste even pulls her away,leading to Leela intervening and punching him in the face.
Maybe the situation will show Ste the error of his ways?
