Kim Jong-un has been pictured visiting a school just hours after reports claimed he executed five top diplomats over the failed summit with Donald Trump.
South Korean media claimed yesterday that Kim Hyok Chol and four others were executed by firing squad for betraying the supreme leader after being won over by the United States.
Kim Hyok Chol was the Norths counterpart of US special representative Stephen Biegun in the run-up to the Hanoi summit in February and laid much of the groundwork for the historic meeting.
Two other officials, Kim Yong-chol and Kim Song-hye, have reportedly been imprisoned along with Kim Jong-uns interpreter, who reportedly made a mistake.
North Korean state media have yet to confirm the alleged political purge, but instead released images of the beaming despot posing with crying children.

A number of students seemed to be overcome with emotion, and were pictured bursting into tears in his presence.
After his school visit, he then gave the February 8 General Machine Factory field guidance.
