Coronation Street spoilers: Sinead Tinkers devastating exit story revealed?

Its been an incredibly traumatic year for Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street but — with actress Katie McGlynn reportedly set to leave the soap — the heartache is far from over, as the young factory worker receives a letter which could change everything.

After discovering shed fallen pregnant last year, Sinead couldnt wait to let husband Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) in on the good news. However, the young womans bubble was soon burst when she was diagnosed with cervical cancer — a condition which posed a serious risk to her unborn child.

Following her diagnosis, Sinead found herself conflicted over how best to proceed, but ultimately decided to put the health of the baby above her own, Daniel did all he could to support his wife in her darkest hour and, despite the odds, she gave birth to their son Bertie. Afterwards, Sinead carried on with her chemo.

She recovered well from the treatment, but was informed that the cancer could return at any given time — something which has no doubt been weighing on her mind ever since.

This week, she receives a letter from the hospital confirming her MRI scan, and it leaves her incredibly unsettled. However, determined to not let anyone know how shes really feeling, she decides to puts on a brave face.

Although Katies departure from Coronation Street remains unconfirmed, an exit storyline for the character would more than likely relate to the cancer diagnosis. As a result, could this scan be the beginning of the end for Sinead?
