A mother abandoned her seven year-old son in a boiling Miami house that had its doors nailed shut, police say.

Claudia Dinora Maldonado-Vasquez, 24, reportedly dumped the boy in terrible heat, in a home with no air conditioning or open windows.

The distressed youngster began screaming, prompting a neighbor to call police.

When officers arrived at the house Tuesday morning, they saw the distraught youngster through a window.

An arrest report said: The child told the unit that he did not want to be alone.

The unit then observed bars around the windows and nails at the top of the door that would not allow the door to be opened from the inside.

The report continued: The house…had empty beer bottles and cigarette butts on the floor.
