Tom Hanks tested Tom Hollands acting skills through a vigorous coffee exchange on The Graham Norton Show, and it looks like he may have passed.

Halfway through, Hanks joked: Can you try it with a little bit more something to it? This is a big important scene because King Kong is out front and hes going to smash the building.

After a few more coffee pleads, Holland received a handshake from Hanks for his efforts.

A coming-of-age story where Holland plays a young Hanks learning the acting ropes in a biopic? Were just throwing it out there.

Holland, however, admitted how he struggles to act now without an American accent.

The pair appeared on show alongside Gwyneth Paltrow and Jake Gyllenhaal – with the latter playing Mysterio opposite Holland in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
