In late June, Aaron Paul posted a cryptic Instagram photo of two donkeys. “Soon,” he wrote in its auspicious caption. Though it didnt technically allude to this, fans instantly assumed the image had something to do with the Breaking Bad movie that show creator Vince Gilligan allegedly has in the works. The random nature of the image, the foreboding simplicity of the caption—it was all perfectly crafted to stoke curiosity, especially since his Breaking Bad costar Bryan Cranston posted the same dang photo to his Instagram. And yet! It would appear that the secret project Paul and Cranston were plugging was actually…a new line of mezcal.

Thats right: The stars of Breaking Bad are getting in on the liquor game, that long-favored side-hustle of famous actors everywhere. Talking about life and what we could possibly do down the road together,” Paul wrote. “We had the time of our lives while shooting Breaking Bad and truly built a very special bond. Knowing that we couldnt share the screen for quite a while – our thoughts turned to a new project.”

They drank cocktails and mused, just two guys being dudes. “The younger one looked at his drink and said, you know what we should do? We should do a really special Mezcal,” Paul wrote in his caption. “The older one said, you mean the liquor with a worm at the bottom? Nah, that was just some bullshit gimmick, I mean real, artesanal [sic] Mezcal made by hand in Mexico.”

Paul and Cranston then traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico, to get the ball rolling, sourcing their mezcal from a small local village. “We found it and it was perfect,” Paul continued. “Holy shit it was perfect. We looked at each other and just simply nodded. This is it. We named it Dos Hombres – two guys on a quest.”

So there you go. Theyre not revealing anything new about the Breaking Bad movie (yet). According to the latest reports, though, the film is a sequel to theRead More – Source
