Love Islands Joanna Chimonides has given Michael Griffiths the green light to crack on with Amber Gill now shes out of the way.

The 22-year-old recruitment consultant was savagely dumped from the Majorcan villa in scenes that aired tonight, as the cast of 2019 decided to save her other half from elimination.

Joanna first coupled up with Michael during the drama that was Casa Amor, leaving Amber heartbroken and single – but now shes not bothered if they picked things up from where they left off.

Speaking about her exit, Joanna began: Part of me expected Michael to leave with me, however I dont want to be in control of someones life journey and if he wants to continue in the villa, to get to know someone else or see where things go, Ive got respect for that.

Talking about where her heads at in regards to the relationship, Joanna continued: I am a bit in limbo about how Im feeling about Michael.

We got along well and had lots in common and laughed together but for me I need to put it on pause and then we can see what happens when he leaves the villa.

Joanna isnt completely confident she sees a future with Michael either and admitted shed be happy for him and Amber if they recoupled.

I want to live my best life and continue being me and not changing for anyone, she said. Me and Michael will have to see how he gets on whilst he is in the villa and when he gets out, so for now there is a pause on us.

You never know if hes going to crack on with Amber. If theyre meant to be, they will be. If they do get together and are happy, Ill be happy for them.

The dumped islander insisted theres no bad blood between her and Amber either, saying: Me and Amber are on very good terms. We both were women about the situation we were in. We were adults about it and Im happy that she was happy to let her guard down and be good with me.
