The Walking Dead season 10 trailer teases Alphas vengeance and new romances

The Walking Dead season 10 will see our heroes cross the Whisperer border, Negan and Aaron team up – and an epic confrontation between Alpha and Carol.

The first trailer dropped on Friday at San Diego Comic Con during the shows panel on Friday (19 July) with AMC releasing the first look at the new series which is the second under showrunner Angela Kang.

In the trailer, we also saw Michonne and Ezekiel kiss, hinting that Ezekiel is moving on after his split from Carol.

The show picks up after the season nine finale, which ended on a mysterious voice through a radio attempting to contact the group following their trip through hazardous blizzards.

Angela Kang confirmed this mystery voice will come into play this season to Entertainment Weekly, saying: Its part of the fun mystery of the season, and it will come into play in hopefully interesting ways that turn the story.

The new series will also continue to explore natural dangers in the shows world, with the tenth season particularly playing with the element of fire.

Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne, confirmed earlier in the panel that The Walking Dead season 10 will be her last.

Danai has starred as Michonne in the series since its third season, but she told fans at San Diego Comic Con on Friday that her heart will never leave.

The Walking Dead Family is forever, and it never ends, she said.
