Love Island bosses are fully aware that without a strong roster if islanders the show is nothing – so of course the casting team are going all out for the first ever winter series, which airs in January 2020.

Sources close to the show have alleged that the casting team have put out a call to talent scouts and agents for particular people including a male virgin and a female stripper.

But the female stripper also has to be classy.

Show bosses had already allegedly put a call out for twins, goth girls and Essex lads but now insiders told The Sun that bosses are also keen to find someone who is related to royalty, a “rock chick”, and a girl with tattoos.

And a male surfer dude.

No one tell Lucie Donlan…

The winter version of the show will be set in Cape Town, South Africa, and because of the distance to the UK, it is thought that show bosses are keen to have a tighter group of islanders ready to enter the villa so that they dont need to send as many out throughout the shows run.

Amber Gill and Greg OShea were crowned winners of this years series, beating couple Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague who were deemed the favourites.

The casting process of this years show recently came under scrutiny, after it was revealed the majority of Islanders were selected with help from casting agencies over the general application; only six of the 2019 islanders came from the general application process.
