This year marked the 30th anniversary of Saved By The Bell, and its giving us serious nostalgia pangs.
And it looks like the hit teen comedy could follow in the footsteps of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Charmed and get its own reboot.
Speaking at the Saved By The Bell panel at FAN EXPO Canada in Toronto, actors Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley and Mark-Paul Gosselaar discussed the likelihood of the show returning, and it sounds like a reunion could be on its way in the near future.
According to Comicbook.com, Mark-Paul, who starred as Zack Morris in the high school sitcom and has previously vocally supported the idea of a reunion, told the crowd: Theres talks, theres always talks. I just heard recently theres talks.
While Elizabeth confirmed this, she added that the cast werent just going to rush into reuniting the Bayside High Class of 93, as any reunion or revival had to be right.

On the plus side, it sounds like any future Saved By The Bell stories will be more reboots than remakes, showing where the original cast are now (like the slightly confusing 2019 90210 project) as opposed to a new cast.
Obviously we couldnt be in high school still, so youd have to be creative with the premise, actor and presenter Mario said. But its fun to think about.
And who knows? You never say never.
Now thats what we like to hear!
With the cast still close friends, who knows: we could be heading back to Bayside High sooner than we think…
