WarnerMedias Crunchyroll invests in European anime firm Viz Media Group.

The company, which is a division of Otter Media, has struck a deal that will bring together Crunchyrolls global platform with Viz Medias anime partners. The Hitotsubashi Group will retain a minority stake in the business.

Viz Media supplies European broadcasters and streaming platforms with around 40,000 hours of anime programming and also distributes theatrically as well as publishes manage and operates a number of anime digital networks.
