Jamie Laings dreams of Strictly Come Dancing may not have been crushed entirely as hes still expected to compete in 2020.
And insiders says hes thrilled as its the perfect tonic he needs after being replaced by Kelvin Fletcher.
The Made In Chelsea star was forced to drop out of this years Strictly after damaging a tendon in his right foot during rehearsals last week.
But sources say that Jamie, 30, is still in the running for next years series and its just what he needs while recovering from the devastating blow.
An insider told The Sun: After such a harrowing end to his Strictly debut this must have been the perfect tonic for Jamie…knowing he will be back in the ballroom next year.
It was a lovely touch by the powers that be who realised just how devastated he was.

The update comes as Paddy Power predicted that Jamie would be announced for the 2020 installment of the BBCs hit ballroom dancing competition.
A spokesperson from the bookmakers told Metro.co.uk: A lot can happen in a year, and our traders believe Jamie Laing returning to Strictly wouldnt be a surprise.
Hes short-priced to feature on next years edition of the show, hopefully next time he will manage to stay injury-free and not pull out a couple of days before the launch.
Jamie broke his silence on his departure over the weekend to congratulate his replacement, Emmerdale star Kelvin.
In an Instagram video, the reality TV star said: I just want to give a big congratulations and shout out to Kelvin Fletcher whos taken my place on Strictly this year.
