Coronation Streets Sair Khan splits from boyfriend Simon Lennon after nearly two years

Coronation Street actress Sair Khan has split from actor boyfriend Simon Lennon, according to reports.

The 31-year-old actress, most known for playing Alya Nazir on the ITV soap since 2014, is claimed to be taking a break from the Our Girl star after nearly two years of dating.

According to The Sun, the split resulted from conflicting work commitments preventing them from spending time together, following Sairs intense training for Channel 4s Sink Or Swim.

Speaking to the publication, a source said: Previously, the pair spent a lot of their spare time together.

Now both of them have huge work commitments and are at pivotal times in their careers. They have tried to make it work but are taking some time to give each other breathing space.

Metro.co.uk has reached out to Sairs reps for comment.

Sair recently opened up about the death of her mother on Instagram, explaining how she was seeing a hypnotherapist to deal with anxiety in the aftermath.
