Paddy and Nicko were awarded the golden buzzer from judge David Walliams on the third episode of Britains Got Talent: The Champions.
The 85-year-old dancer and partner Nicko previously finished ninth when they entered Britains Got Talent back in 2014, but the pair have been sent straight through to the final following their latest salsa routine.
After the pair danced away on Champions to a standing ovation, David Walliams said: There are very few acts you can watch with a smile on your face and tears in your eyes.
This is one of the most joyous, most beautiful, most life-affirming acts weve ever had on Britains Got Talent.
So lets not mess about. Lets do this for everybody here.
David rushed around the desk to hit the golden buzzer, sparking a shower of confetti and a particularly grateful Paddy and Nicko.
Speaking about the buzzer, Paddy said: Just incredible. David, thank you so much. David is a very special name to me, it was my husbands name, thank you so much.
Some viewers, however, were quite surprised by Davids golden buzzer choice, with many suggesting it was a waste of the buzzer..
Of course they got David's golden buzzer. Of course. #BGTTheChampions
