Forget Harrison Fords The Fugitive, because Kiefer Sutherland is going to be muttering goddamnit all over TVs in 2020 in a small-screen version of the 90s drama.

The 24 star will be taking on the role of Tommy Lee Jones U.S. Marshal on the tail of Mike Ferro (played by Boyd Holbrook) who finds himself at the centre of a manhunt when he is incorrectly identified as the man who detonated a bomb on the LA subway.

The faulty evidence on the ground and “tweet-now, confirm-later” journalism paint a nightmarish picture: it looks to all the world that Mike was responsible for the heinous act, Variety reports about the TV series.

Wrongfully—and very publicly—accused, Mike must prove his innocence by uncovering the real perpetrator, before the legendary cop (Sutherland) heading the investigation can apprehend him.
