Won’t tolerate provocation from Pakistan: Rajnath Singh

PUNE: Union defence minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said the surgical strike across the Line of Control (LoC) in 2016 and the Balakot air strike in 2019 show that India will no longer tolerate provocation from Pakistan.
Singh also reiterated that India has never had any territorial ambitions, while addressing cadets after reviewing the passing out parade of the 137th course at the National Defence Academy in Khadakwasla.
"Pakistan was defeated in 1948, 1965, 1971, and 1999. Pakistan has realised it will never win a conventional war against India and has resorted to proxy war, and will stare at defeat in this stratagem too," Singh said.
