J&K admin extends LTC benefits to 3.5L employees

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir administration on Saturday approved Leave Travel Concession for more than 3.5 lakh regular government employees working in the Union territory.
A notification prescribing the Jammu & Kashmir Civil Services (Leave Travel Concession) Rules, 2019 has already been issued by the General Administrative Department in this regard. It states that a government employee along with their family can travel to any place in India once in a block of four years and to his hometown once in a block of two years, and they will get a concession for the trip.
The rules, as per the notification, shall be deemed to have come into force on October 31, 2019.
