‘Biased reporting, outright lies’: IPS Association slams NYT article questioning conduct of police during Delhi riots

NEW DELHI: The Indian Police Service Association has strongly condemned an article in The New York Times questioning the conduct of police during the Delhi riots, calling it a combination of biased reporting, dangerous innuendo and outright lies.
"The article is clearly a concerted effort to denigrate and defame Indian Institutions," the IPS association said in a tweet adding, "Indian Police forces are professional bodies which do their duty without fear or favour."
