Amazon have given us our first real look at psychological thriller Homecoming.
The TV series stars Julia Roberts in the lead and is pegged as a mind-bending psychological thriller, and thats exactly what the teaser unveiled at Comic Con yesterday pitched.
A slow-crawl through the facility which Julia Roberts caseworker is employed ups the tension in something not to dissimilar to some of The Shinings interior shots.
It ends with Roberts sat in the therapists chair in an office, turning a dictaphone on, and telling her patient to begin talking.
Mood = set.
The series sees Heidi Bergman (Roberts), a caseworker at the Homecoming Transitional Support Center, a Geist Group facility, helping soldiers transition back to civilian life after suffering trauma and prolonged experience to conflict.

Walter Cruz (Stephan James) is one of these soldiers, eager to begin the next phase of his life.
And of course, overseeing Heidi and the facility is Colin Belfast (Bobby Cannavale), an ambitious company man whose manic demands point to some very questionable motives.

The action picks up four years later, when Heidi has started a new life, living with her mother (Sissy Spacek) and working as a small-town waitress, when a Department of Defense auditor (Shea Whigham) comes to her with questions about why she left the Homecoming facility.
As the questions keep on rolling Heidi begins to realize that theres a whole other story behind the story shes been telling herself for the past four years.
Homecoming is set to premiere globally on Amazon Prime on 2 November.
