Social media users have come together to support a boy who is being bullied at school because of his appearance.

They responded quickly after Keaton Jones’ mum posted a video of him talking about the abuse he had suffered at school in Tennessee, United States.

‘Why do they bully? What’s the point of it?’ he asked his mum Kim Jones in the video posted on Facebook.

He added: ‘Why are they taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them? It’s not ok.’

‘It’s not ok. People are different, it’s not their fault. If you are made fun of, just don’t let it bother you.

‘Stay strong, I guess. It’s hard but it’ll probably get better one day.’

The clip was given a boost after UFC President Dana White shared it online.

He also invited Keaton to meet him at the UFC Headquarters in Las Vegas.

‘Meet Keaton Jones a very smart little boy who is being bullied at school,’ White wrote.

‘This video is heartbreaking!! I want to bring Keaton to Vegas and hang out at UFC Headquarters. If anyone knows how I can reach the family please let me know. Thank u, everyone.’

Other famous people, including Patricia Arquette and Will Poulter, also praised Keaton for his bravery.

Poulter tweeted: ‘I’m your friend, Keaton Jones. You’re a more intelligent and more compassionate human being than any of the people bullying you.

‘I’m inspired by you and things will get better because you are speaking out. Love and strength to you, dude!’

A Twitter hashtag #StandWithKeaton has been created to support Keaton.
