Old People’s Home For 4 Year Olds At Christmas will touch on the subject of loneliness among the elderly in a special festive episode.
The episode sees the children help the elderly residents put on a carol concert and hand out invites to other people who are facing Christmas alone.
In one touching clip, 86-year-old retired teacher Mary reveals that she spent Christmas on her own last year.
She says: ‘Last Christmas day, I was in my flat alone. I spent a lot of time sitting around and thinking, “What shall I do to occupy myself?”‘

Another woman says: ‘I haven’t got any plans this Christmas. I’d like one of my old Christmases back with my husband, just having a good time.
‘On the other hand you mustn’t dwell on it. You must get on with life and do what you can.’
Also in the episode, Eva, 5, meets another Eva to invite her to the carol concert.
