Tragedy and death are about to come calling to Emmerdale once more as the soap airs a devastating crash that could obliterate the entire White family – and leave Robert Sugden reeling in the aftermath.
The Whites are making plans to escape Emmerdale for good with Seb in tow but when Robert discovers their plans, he is having none of it and determines to stop them from taking his beloved son away from him.
With the help of his sister Victoria Barton, Robert snatches Seb while the family are packing up their car and making to leave the village. As he then speeds off in his car, the panicked clan take off after him, with Rebecca fearing that Robert is going to do something terrible.
With no small help from the actions of Lachlan, Rebecca has been made to believe that Robert has far more dangerous actions than he actually has – Robert just wants access to his son and his decision to kidnap him is born from his desperation to stop himself losing his boy forever.
But things are about to get even more serious. Lachlan had never wanted to leave for Australia, instead deciding that he wanted a flat with his girlfriend Belle Dingle in Leeds. Chrissie intervenes and instructs a reluctant Belle to dump Lachlan but when Lachlan finds out what his mum has done, he flips.
With Lawrence, Rebecca, Chrissie and Lachlan all in the car as they chase after Robert, Lachlan and Chrissie viciously row while Rebecca panics over Seb.

Lachlan angrily grabs the steering wheel and this causes the vehicle to swerve into the path of an oncoming lorry. A terrible collision follows, leaving the car in a completely destroyed state – and it remains to be seen who, if anyone, will emerge from the carnage alive.
Metro.co.uk were on location with Emmerdale when the crash was filmed and we can guarantee that you are in for some spectacular drama.
