Genie Bouchard’s latest Instagram post gave all the single guys out there the hope that they were looking for this Valentine’s Day.
Even the fans that follow the pro tennis player’s every move likely assumed that Bouchard was going steady with John Goehrke, the guy who made a Super Bowl bet with her a year ago that resulted in their first date. However, the beautiful blonde posted a message to Instagram on Wednesday declaring that she is “highly single.”
“So I’m discovering Valentine’s Day is a lot less fun when you’re single. Trying to counter all these couple posts with a highly single post,” Bouchard captioned the stunning photo from her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit spread.

Less than two weeks ago, Bouchard and the guy who bet her the Patriots would come back to beat the Falcons last year attended Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis together. About a month before that Bouchard shared a selfie of the two of them hanging out on her couch.
We’re not really sure what happened between the tennis sensation and Goehrke, but his Valentine’s Day just got a whole lot worse if Genie is being genuine.
