Barack Obama released his March Madness brackets for the men and the women Thursday afternoon.

The 44th president has Virginia, North Carolina, Michigan State and Villanova. He has MSU beating Virginia in the title game.

Just because I have more time to watch games doesn’t mean my picks will be better, but here are my brackets this year: https://t.co/ETRchPcZxFpic.twitter.com/gnNXw0Ysxr

So here’s the deal. I like some of his bracket, but not all of it. We have the same title game, but with opposite results. I also have Purdue over Villanova in the Elite Eight.

Is it just me, or is this bracket the perfect way to appease swing state voters? Let’s take a look at the Final Four. Virginia, Michigan, North Carolina and Pennsylvania are all swing states. It almost seems like our guy Barack has forgotten that he’s not running for president anymore.

Of course, maybe he does just realize those are four great teams. We’ll see how correct he turns out to be. Our fates our even tied together to a certain point. This might be the first time I’ve ever had to support the same side as Obama. Wild times we’re living in. Trust me, I wanted to really trash his picks, but I can’t because I’d just be trashing myself. It’s a weird situation to be in.
