Its an image from the archives which still bristles with historical significance for the present-day Royal Family.
Captured in 1975, the image of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles conversing in Cirencester Park following a polo match has been called back to on plenty of occasions in the intervening years.
The photograph has now been recreated for a scene in the upcoming third season of the acclaimed Netflix drama The Crown, which is currently in the middle of production.
Josh OConnor and Emerald Fennell are playing Charles and Camilla respectively, with the two pictured in costume on set late last week as the two royals.
The real-life Charles and Camilla first began dating in 1971, but their romance came to an abrupt end when Charles went off on naval duties. Camilla then married Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973, with the marriage coming to an end in 1995.
Charles – who divorced Diana, Princess of Wales a year later – and Camilla later rekindled their relationship, before tying the knot in 2005.

The tree-backed scene appears to have a major part to play in a future episode of The Crown, with actors Marion Bailey and Charles Dance (who play the Queen Mother and Lord Mountbatten on the show) also spotted on the same set watching the polo match in character.
The Crown season three is expected to arrive on Netflix in 2019.
