Emmerdale spoilers: Dark new storyline exposes Harriet Finchs past

Emmerdale has confirmed a brand new storyline which will expose Harriet Finchs past from her police days – and it looks like there will be dark days ahead for the village vicar as she is faced with things shed rather put behind her.

Little is known about Harriets detective days but on occasion, we have seen her bend the rules in order to call in favours – always for the right reasons. But new scenes will see the show delve deeper into what she faced as an officer. Will a face from her past – or potentially a deed – return to haunt her?

The storyline remains almost completely under wraps but an insider told TV Times: Harriet led a very different life before she became a vicar and even worked undercover. She would have met some characters and made some difficult decisions.

If she upset a criminal or two along the way, could someone be on the hunt for revenge? Harriet is currently the pillar of the community, always there to offer a shoulder to cry on for anyone who needs it.
