Even Richard Blackwood is pretty worried about Gemma Collins skating potential on Dancing On Ice.

The former EastEnders actor predicts that the GC will scare everyone with her talents on the ice when the ITV series returns on Sunday.

Teasing the upcoming series, Richard told Good Morning Britain hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway: She can skate, yeah she can. No Gemmas very honest, I love Gemma like cooked food for that.

Shell scare a lot of people, Gemma will go out there and show you because shes about that life.

Blimey, sounds very promising indeed.

Spilling even more tea from behind the scenes, Richard said of former Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan: James is a secret one, James acts like he cant skate. James was pulling off some spins that was scaring us. James has got it down, hes a dark horse that one.

Although, the 46-year-old actor did throw a little shade at fellow contestant Brian McFadden, joking that he used the stop technique of slamming into the side of the ice rink.

We caught that sly dig, Rich.

The former soaps actor went on to reveal his own skating past, after growing up in Sweden at at a young age and skating to school.

Richard said: My mum went to live in Sweden when I was three or four years old. Boros, its like the Cornwall of Sweden. I used to ski to school. I then used to skate at Streatham ice skating rink, that was the local hangout.

Even with his own skating past, Richard admits that hes found training particularly hard so far, explaining: I respect anybody thats done this show prior. Its very very gruelling. Its hard. Even if you can skate, the discipline these guys put you through, I respect them.
