The dad of a five-year-old girl who was left with brain damage after the Christchurch terror attack has shared heartbreaking photos of his daughter in hospital.
Wasseim Alsatis daughter Alen is still at a childrens hospital after they were both shot as they walked to the Al Noor mosque hand in hand on March 15.
Now Mr Alsati and many other victims of the massacre which left 50 people dead are calling for New Zealand to change the law and sentence the shooter to death.
The father-of-four, who was discharged from hospital over the weekend, has shared pictures of his daughter in Aucklands Starship Childrens Hospital surrounded by family and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Mr Alsati, who owns a barbershop in Christchurch, says he and many other Christchurch survivors plan to sign a petition calling on New Zealand to reinstate the death penalty.
The dad-of-four told Daily Mail Australia: The reason why he used New Zealand is because there is no death penalty. But with a case like this, we need the law to be changed.
Weve been talking inside the community. We havent said much about it but we are looking to go out and ask for him to be hanged.
Mr Alsati believes the suspect, who pleaded not guilty to charges against him, has shown no remorse.
He said: I dont feel anything about him shooting me, I am really angry that he shot my daughter.
Mr Alsati says he mistook the shooter for a soldier at first until he saw his assault rifle aimed at his daughters head.
The shooter was wearing either New Zealand or Australian military uniform or a combination of the two, according to Mr Alsati.
He went to grab his daughter and carry her but the culprit had already shot her.
A second bullet hit her in the toes while her father was shot twice in the stomach and twice in the buttocks.
