Indian officials say a bid to retrieve the bodies of five climbers from a notoriously dangerous Himalayan mountain by helicopter will not be possible due to bad weather.
A team of eight led by veteran mountaineer Martin Moran – including four Britons, two Americans, an Australian and an Indian – have been missing since an avalanche last week.
Mr Morans Scotland-based company said the climbers set out on May 13.
Contact with a separate trekking team at base camp was lost May 26 following an avalanche.
Five bodies have been spotted, but all eight missing climbers are feared dead.
