Susanne Reid came face to face with a killer on death row for murdering his wifes family just days before he was executed.
Triple murderer Billie Wayne Coble has spent 30 years in jail after the August 1989 shooting of his wifes parents Robert and Zelda Vicha and her brother Bobby in Texas.
However, Coble, 70, refused to apologise to the family as he met the Good Morning Britain presenter.
He smiled when Reid asked what he thought of the gruesome killings, and said: To some people it matters, to me it really no longer matters.

Reid went on to ask if he wanted to apologise to the family.
He replied: OK, if you want me to give some type of, like, rehearsed apology or something, I mean, Ive already said that I regret what happened.
Now I fully regret what happened. But I also truly regret a lot of things in life.
She also asked if he was scared of dying, and Coble said: Death is death.
A person said one time; “Thats a horrible way of dying”. I said; “What is a good way?” Could you tell me what a good way is to die?
Who is not going to leave this world? Arent we all?
It depends on how long a person has already lived. The longer youve lived, the easier it is to accept death.
Coble became the oldest inmate executed by Texas since the state resumed carrying out death sentences in 1982 on February 28.
Watched by his son, grandson and daughter-in-law, The Vietnam War veterans last words were bizarrely: Yes sir, that will be five dollars. I love you, I love you and I love you.
Mike, I love you. Wheres Nelly at? I love you, that will be five dollars. Take care.
He gasped several times and started snoring.
It is believed the five dollar comment comes from the former electricians time in Vietnam.
