Does Jessie Dingle die in Emmerdale after being shot by Max?

Things didnt look good for Jessie Dingle (Sandra Marvin) at the end of the most recent episode of Emmerdale when she was shot by Max (Jordan Reece).

She had been caught in the crossfire when Max had arrived at Billy Fletchers (Jay Kontzle) home to get revenge, after he had gone to the police to foil his armed robbery plans.

Billy had hoped that it would lead to Max getting arrested, which would take him out of his life, but things went wrong as Max armed himself with a gun and set out to kill Billy.

When he arrived at the home, Billy wasnt there, but Jessie and Marlon were there with April and things soon got out of hand.

Does Jessie Dingle die in Emmerdale?

Billy was able to get April out of the home safely and he was initially able to take down Billy and disarm him.

Despite a beating from Billy, Max was later able to get hold of the gun without anyone noticing, grabbing it from the floor and shooting Jessie in the stomach.

Police had been surrounding the home, but they were too late to stop the shooting.

Once they arrived they took Max away and got Jessie medical attention.

Its not yet known if Jessie will survive, but she passed out shortly after being shot with Marlon (Mark Charnock) trying to keep her conscious.
