Emmerdales Kelvin Fletcher has got off to a solid start with bookmakers on Strictly Come Dancing despite him not even setting foot on the dancefloor yet.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes have already announced Kelvin as a 10/1 favourite to win the show, after he was announced as the eleventh hour replacement for Jamie Laing.
However, he has some work up against him as a battle of the soaps take place – with Eastenders Emma Barton and Coronation Streets Catherine Tyldesley both coming in higher than him at 4/1 and 6/1 respectively.
Alex Scott is at 4/1, with a surprise jump in interest over CBBCs Karim Zeroual, who is now at 3/1 after his first performance on the show last night.
Michelle Visage and Mike Bushell are both the outsiders according to the site, coming in at 50/1 each.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: Alex Scott has headed the betting from the word go but shes now been leapfrogged by Karim, while Kevin Fletcher is far from being ruled out after being announced this weekend.

Kelvin was announced early Sunday morning as the replacement for Made In Chelsea star Jamie, who was pulled out of the show after getting injured while recording the first group dance routine.
What happened played out on cameras during the Strictly launch show on Saturday night, where he was seen landing awkwardly on his leg in the middle of a routine, before being taken off camera in tears.
After being put in a moon boot for eight weeks to recover, he then spoke to the cameras saying how he could no longer take part, hugging Oti Mabuse, who had only just become his dance partner.
The pair later shared gushy messages about each other online to share their sadness at no longer competing together, with fans demanding that he return next year once hes had time to heal.
