Emmerdale actor Asan NJie has been sacked from the soap after being accused of threatening Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas at the TV Choice Awards 2019.
The incident is said to have taken place outside Londons Hilton Park Lane Hotel after the awards ceremony, which saw the likes of Maura Higgins, Piers Morgan and Holly Willoughby in attendance, on Monday night.
Security reportedly escorted Asan off the premises after he allegedly threatened to kill Jamie.
In a statement to Metro.co.uk, a spokesperson for ITV said: We are extremely concerned to hear about an incident at last nights TV Choice Awards involving one of Emmerdales cast.
Obviously we will be investigating and talking to the actor concerned in due course.

Who is Asan NJie?
Asan is an actor with a history of appearing on soap operas.
His first acting credit was in 2011 when he appeared in an episode of Waterloo Road.
Asan next appeared in an episode of Holby City in 2016, and followed this up with a regular stint as Finn in Mount Pleasant from 2015 until 2017.
