Rahul attacks PM, says Make in India now Rape in India

RANCHI: In a scathing attack on Narendra Modi at two back-to-back election rallies in Jharkhand, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that the Prime Minister has turned the Centres ambitious Make in India programme into Rape in India and expressed concern that rising incidents of sexual assaults have defamed the country globally.
“You remember Modis Make in India programme to push indigenous products and generate jobs? How many got jobs? Today, it is replaced by Rape in India,” he said at a rally in Mahagama.
