Revealing that the returnee will be central to the Christmas storyline, Dean Gaffney teased an exciting festive season for Walford which promises to be as dark and intense as usual.
While Dean, who plays Robbie Jackson, was giving nothing further away about what is to come for Christmas, he has high hopes for a potential romance down the line for his luckless alter ego.
He also heaped praise on the new direction for the show which has seen former Emmerdale and Coronation Street boss Kate Oates take the helm.
Her record speaks for itself, he told us – so beyond Christmas, it seems that there may be some exciting scenes ahead.
