Watership Down paid a tribute to author Richard Adams who wrote the original novel, in a blink-and-youll-miss-it moment.

While the BBC and Netflix remake production met a scathing response to the chosen CG animation, theres some joy to be found in the shows timeless, if brutal, story.

In the third chapter of the BBC adaptation, the rabbits navigate across the pavement and under a bench, which holds a special message in a plaque if you squint your eyes to maximum.

Some viewers were also pretty chuffed to have spotted the reference.
